I forgot to put my car in gear and/or set the E break one time at the gas station. Filled up and then went inside to buy a drink or something. When I came out my car had rolled about fifty feet and partially hopped a curb and come to a stop. I was pretty embarrassed but glad it didn't hit anything or anybody.

I did something like this one time. Didn't turn out quite as good as your incident. My car went through a mobile home.

I don't remember what happened but I remember I had a girlfriend that did something, forgot to set the break, left it in gear, something like that. But it started to accelerate forward down the street.

I raced to the car, leaped into the drivers side window and hit the break pedal with my hand. Crazy, I felt like superman!
It was an 84 honda civic. I learned to drive a stick in that car.

The other night at walmart saw a 4 year old running across the parking lot into the store with no socks or shoes on. It was about 40 degrees out. Figured maybe the kid got out of the car and wouldn't put them on and figured his parents would get his shoes and socks on him once in the store. Nope saw him later with his father and no shoes or socks. WTF!!

If I have something coming in from FedEx(supposed to arrive tomorrow)would I be able to get it faster by picking it up in person as opposed to waiting for them to drop it off?

If it's at the facility right now, you should be able to go in and get it as opposed to waiting for tomorrow. (Bring your receipt, of course)

Some routes make deliveries late in the afternoon, and I know they load their trucks at 5-6 am. So if you miss it today and it's at the facility, you would probably have to wait until they drop it off.
