Search for a gif in google, then look at it and right click it, then copy image location. Then click on the insert image box in your post editor. paste it in there.

Then most important Preview post.

tumblr is the best because I haven't found them doing any anti-hotlinking.

Yeah, but I follow communitythings on tumblr already, so I have a ton of Community GIFs I can use. Plus, there are tumblrs for a ton of different things you might want to GIF (Simpsons, Futurama, AD, etc).

That's not going to help the gifbin stuff because they do things on their server to discourage hotlinking. It's the domain that the picture sits on, not the pasting procedure.
