iPhone users...what case/cover? (42 don't answer)

I got the Commuter Series OtterBox when I first got my 4s. It's not big and bulky like the Defender series, and that's what I like about it.

Thing about the Commuter is it does well with drops, which was pleasing. The downside is once it starts to crack, then it all falls apart

Argh; Has anyone ever planned out in their head how a certain interaction, or event with someone would go, but then when it occurs it happens completely different than what you had pictured?

Now I'm spending the rest of my day wondering how I could get everything so wrong, and why I was so off in what I had planned in my head would happen.

Don't plan things out in your head. Problem solved.

I know this I guess that's why I fail so hard with females. You see I'm the kind of person that always wants to be prepared, I like to visualize things before doing them... what scares me the most is when I'm going into an unknown situation not knowing what to expect. (some people love spontaneous situations it gives them a thrill but not me)

I like to have a Plan A, followed by a Plan B, Plan C, and Plan D... but as I've learned sometimes life can throw all your plans out the window at times. If I didn't at least think about some conversation starters, or some things to bring up I'd be even more awkward having no clue what to say.

I hate to say it because it sounds so simple, but the only way to get to know a girl (and for her to get to know you) is to go with the flow. I realize that sometimes that can be difficult (it was for me until probably last year), but it'll come naturally to you with more experience. Now obviously things like conversation starters are different because there's nothing that needs to lead up to them. You can kind of plan them out, but don't ever plan your follow ups. That's preparing for failure.

Do you have an iPod? Music is an easy-to-talk-about, common topic.

I used to not know what to say around anyone be it a guy or a girl. But I've realized over the past year that people really don't care if you act a little weird. There is a difference between being freak weird, like Dayman, and being normal weird, like most of us here probably. People are not going to judge you as much as we all tend to think, and generally, they really aren't going to care at all what you do.

I used to just get nervous walking in front of people. I always felt like I was being stared at and I had to make sure I walked "normal". Sounds stupid and it is. Now I'm confident and I've also come to the realization that other people don't really care what I'm doing just like I don't care about what they're doing. If I say some weird things to get a conversation started, they may find it strange at first, but after the awkwardness starts to wear off, they don't really even think about what you said or how it may have been weird.

So stop trying to prepare like that and just go with the flow. It'll come very easy once you just give it a few tries. It sounds silly, but try to at least talk with a stranger every day, then make it two after a week. Your people skills will get better easily that way and you'll start becoming a comfortable people person.

Maybe we're like long lost brothers, or the same person in an alternate universe.

Anyways I think my problem is I over-think things too much with girls. I always think that every single pretty girl needs to be swept off her feet with some spectacular gesture of kindness, or doing something extra ordinary for her, and as I'm thinking of ways to pursue possible dates, other guys are swooping in and just getting them.

I'm a better observer than I am at acting out actions, so I've never been one to take charge and lead in social situations. Whenever my friends and I would go out to parties, I'd kind of drift out of the picture and I'd end up watching other people dance wildly, chat, do strange things... Lately it seems as if I'm just a spectator to other peoples lives... but I don't really have the personality to change this. Seems weird, guess I'm just destined to be a loner.

WTF. I order the case and immediately get a text and 2 emails telling me there is suspicious activity on my account. I guess buying a case for the phone I just bought is suspicious
