Anyone else find it kind of dumb that half the crowd at concerts are recording the show with their phone? I've noticed this trend happening at the concerts I've attended over the past 2 years. Same thing with videos on Youtube. You can find hundreds of bad quality videos from a show posted on there.
What happened to just enjoying the show? I mean ever single one of them can't be a blogger. Plus 99% of the videos are crap quality anyway.Comment

That wiki describes what's happening almost exactly.Actually there is a condition called delayed sleep phase syndrome in which a person cannot fall asleep until very early in the morning but will generally fall asleep around the same time every night

Its the advent of the smartphone era. Plus I think a lot of people would love to revisit those moments. I know I wish I had a phone to record what happened to the bar around here when Slayer played near me years ago. Place was nuts and the bar (which wasn't against any walls of the place). Ended up shifted over like 2 feet. Would have liked to had that recorded in some fashion for evidence of that mad night.HELLO BROOKYLN.

My no "hard stop" streak for my Progressive Snapshot© month has ended. If this costs me my anticipated insurance discount, I'm going to hunt down the crazy bitch that first -cut off a UPS truck, causing her to slam the breaks, then swerved to my lane, cutting me off and forcing me to slam the breaks, before blindly turning left and speeding out of the parking lot- and force her at fistpoint to pay my insurance!
The UPS driver came to a complete stop and threw her hands in the air in the universal "WTF" sign, while shaking her head, looking over at me for acknowledgment that she didn't just imagine it. I confirmed, by reciprocating the symbol and head shake.
I'm seriously ticked, I've done perfectly on this Snapshot deal, 1 hard stop in a 1 month period (which might end up being my only hard stop all year) better not screw me over!

I honestly haven't noticed too many people recording stuff. Flash photography bothers me at concerts, at least if it is an indoor venue. But I can see why people try and record stuff since its essentially a keepsake memory.

I meant to mention one thing about my experience at the hockey game I went to this past weekend. There was this woman and a guy (who I presume was her boyfriend) who were trying to figure out the rules on the fly. It was more so the woman trying to figure it out than the guy. Her interpretation of the offsides rule in hockey was hilarious, but after awhile it got annoying. I wanted to explain it to her, but I could just tell she was one of those people who was going to be adamant that she was right if you tried to tell her she was wrong. That's why I signed up for the program. It annoys me that even the simplest most basic insurance coverage costs so much. That's ridiculous...
I'm at least 10 miles from work, one way..
I do drive a lot more than that, though... I did some classes out of town at another store and It was 70 miles one way.. for three days.
