 Re: Off Topic 2012

Does one school have rolling admissions and the other not? I think with rolling admissions you can apply year round and they respond to applications as they come rather than having an application deadline then responding to everyone at once. I know Pitt has rolling admissions (Or at least the Graduate School of Public Health does).Apparently they just like to take forever then. Took WSU a week to send me a letter requesting a transcript, and a week after receiving it to tell me I was accepted. Been over a month now for UW. Luckily the $200 deposit isn't due till May 1st at WSU. I will miss transfer days though (Why the hell are they scheduled so damn early?).

Once when grabbing a meal at my college food court, I picked up a bag of Doritos and I'm pretty sure there was literally one Dorito in the bag. The bag was way light when I picked it up and when I shook it I could only feel/hear one chip inside it. The bag wasn't even ripped/open or anything so must've been a glitch in packaging. Only time I've ever encountered that though.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

I'd hate to be that non expecting sucker that paid for that bag of Doritos.

Being a Pittsburgher and diehard Steelers fan, I really want to say something in this thread especially considering the title.

 Re: Off Topic 2012

I know UW has a hard deadline (different for transfers and high school seniors) and WSU has a priority deadline for fall, but still accepts applications. Still, UW seems to take longer than most other schools for some reason.Does one school have rolling admissions and the other not? I know that back when I applied to UW, they kept me waiting for a couple months after most everyone I knew already got their acceptance letter. It arrived eventually, but I was sweating it out for a couple months.Comment
