What Fresh said. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. Nothing you can do about it either way. Most of my life I've been the kinda kid that was constantly thinking about how other people think of me and stuff like that, but eventually, you just realize it doesn't really matter that much. If you never risk things being slightly weird, you're never going to move forwards anyway. There's been a few times in my life where I've told a girl how I feel and it wasn't mutual, but in those circumstances, we always ended up being much better friends as a result. And the few times that it has worked out for me, it's been awesome, so I sort of look at it as a win-win.

Yeah, I can at least read the Marketing textbook in the mean time, but man, this is killer, and my psyche was already shot after basically everything that could possibly go wrong this semester went wrong. I've never gotten less than a B in anything in my life and now I've failed all my exams and I'm looking at least a couple C's if not a D. Usually a straight A student.

Well I'll share my story .
Last year, as a sophomore , first marking period .. I fail 6 classes and I wasn't eligible to play ball. The coach told me there was no point in even applying for a appeal .for the whole year , I averaged a 67. Don't laugh hahaa . Probably cause I was too focused on girls, then actual school.

Summer time came around , and I basically said **** this, its time for me to man up.

I'm averaging around a 90 right now, plated school ball, and I'm focused.

^^this...bottom line Nathan is that you just gotta do it, over-thinking cost me so many chicks in high school haha. Don't let that happen to you! Over-analyzing things is a waste of your time, if you're "feeling her" and you think she "feels you too" then act on it, if you sit around and wait some other dude will sweep in and get this chick man!

I've talked to a lot of my friends who are girls about this over the years (feels weird saying that lol because I'm 19 going on 20, but it was appropriate here), and they've all echoed each other in this: girls dig guys who are confident in themselves, who know what they want and go get it!

I can't speak for everyone else, but I've totally been there. At some point, you just realize it ain't worth it to overanalyze things. Can only hurt you in the end. Don't let yourself think "I wonder if that chick was into me back then" down the road.

I'll agree 100%. I was that guy as well in high school, and just like you I realized it wasn't worth it at all. Much happier now than I was back than simply because I don't have those wondering moments anymore. Other than in a conversation like this where they slip into my mind again lol.

Man.......must be something on this website that make every guy on here it seems to get women pregnant. A lot of new dads this year on OS. Pretty soon we going to need an OS day care for the kids.

I just did a taste test for a local well to do lady who will be employing our sevices next month.

She critiqued by saying I used too many shallots in my salad dressing and that the beef for the meddalions was overcooked.

I didn't use shallots in my dressing, and the beef was cooked perfectly medium rare. Exactly how it should be for perfect medallions.

Thanks to all. After a long talk with my chick she's calmed a great many of my fears. I still kinda can't believe it, the only thing I know for sure is my golf game has gone to hell, +5 through 15 on TW13.

Yeah, I did pretty well. They seemed happy to speak with me and it seemed to progress well.

However, they had already filled the position when the call came, but they wanted to talk to me anyway just to see if I was a fit.

They did offer that when I went to Eugene to look them up to see if we could speak in person.

That's true. The problem though is that I probably won't go to Eugene without a job there (unless my current company would be alright with me telecommuting).

Oh well, big interview on Thursday. It's the one I really want to get, so we'll see what happens.
