Re: Off Topic 2012
If we were to get married, would it be deemed acceptable for me to have to go pick him up and bring him to our house?
Am I in the wrong for thinking that if she wants to make it work with me, she may have to make concessions? Why does she never have to make concessions when it comes to circumstances regarding the ex? Why am I the one that has to deal with the way things are? Why does she have to drive him around? Why does he have to babysit at her house?
They could work around this and make it work a different way (may be difficult, but nothing is impossible), but they don't. I'm the one that ends up having to deal with this and accept it for what it is. My opinion seems irrelevant. Why is my opinion irrelevant? Why am I the bad guy for not being okay with it?Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
It's felt like winter one time this year(last 365 days) pretty much. There was one little span of a few days where I actually had to wear jackets, but pretty much the entire year has been warm. It's early January and it feels like flip flop weather here.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

However, Menomonie did have a few times this year where it would rain and the next day would be in the teens and freeze everything.Comment

But what level of him being around is considered okay?

Now when you 2 get married, then you guys just meet up at a park or somewhere close to where he can get to on his own.
Basically your situation just comes with the territory of dating women who have a child or kids. Can't deny a man access to his kids. Won't be fair to the kids. Always remember, the kids were there FIRST before YOU.
So you will just have to learn to deal with it on up until the kids are 18 years old. Get use to it, you going to be seeing dude for YEARS.
Far as why he babysits at her parents house, who knows. Maybe her parents wanted it that way. Maybe where he is living at isn't kid friendly or something.
IF this is bothering you NOW, you going to be in a world of anxiety when her kids gets older and wants to spend the night with him or do stuff with him and not you, or he goes out and buy a more expensive christmas gift or birthday gift then you did.
OR the worse part, the child ask you for something and you can't afford it, so they say well I', just going to ask my daddy he can afford it and he goes out and buy it right then and there.
Just comes with the territory. Welcome to the world that millions of men go through everyday when they take on the challenge of dating and marrying women with kids.Comment

It'd be different if she was just having him hang around, but they are his kids. It's the baggage that you got when you signed up for the relationship. So you either have to take it or leave it.Kansas City Royals | FC Barcelona | New Orleans Pelicans
