I really think they're popularity is what gives them a bad name. They have some great instrumentation and lyrics. I'm actually driving from KC to Dallas to see them in June. I hear they're a pretty fantastic show.

I'm neither hipster nor a douche and I'd love to see Coldplay live.

That was just an example. The "Rhianna is a goddess! I love Nicki Manaj, she's so talented! Chris Brown killed that performance!" crap followed that. They will think pretty much every performance is grand tonight, especially whatever Deadmau5 scared all of the children with. That ties into the first part. Strangely, the more you try to be a hipster these days, the more mainstream stuff you pay attention to. It's like people think the clothes make them that. Oh and Instagram, they must use Instagram.

Funny because people on my cousin's FB did not like that performance at all and a bunch of them are Nicki Minaj fans. Those comments really surprised me.

Whatever was their popular song from long ago is the only one I know, and since I don't regularly listen to radio stations that would play it, I never got sick of it.

*just searched* = Yellow & Clocks. I do like those songs, which is weird from my previous self professed death metal fanhood, but I can appreciate most genres of good music. I have an old Dave Mathews cd that I love. I never understood why people trash each other for their music interests.

Surprising, considering most people that I know that like her don't think she can put on a bad performance/song.
