Well, it depends on how you feel about the person. Do you feel like the person is "the one"? If you do, then I'd do everything I could to keep that person around forever...granted I may not be the best source on the matter. I'm a 19/20 year old who's still dating and madly in love with his high school sweetheart (graduated when I was 17, started dating her when I was 16) lol, so I'm a sucker for love.

My personal idea is to just break up and see where things stand once you return, unless you guys are truly in love or something.

My best friend's gf is about to do the study abroad thing and they are going to stay together, which I think will be a huge disaster(of course I think them together is just a disaster, but that's a different story lol)

I dunno might be hard staying together if you're studying a broad Okay that was bad of me sorry.

Seriously, I think it's best not to set things in stone and see how it goes. Sometimes when one is far away from the other it's hard to maintain the level of contact and such that is required when you're apart. So I say play it by ear and see how it goes but if you two feel very strongly about each other than by all means try to keep things going.

I've done that. My fiance was in Australia for about 5-6 months. It's gonna be tough, no doubt, but if you make it through, the relationship will be better than ever.

Hmmm, alright thanks for the opinions. My last girlfriend was basically a long-distance thing (only an hour or so drive from each other but neither of us had a car and her school was in the middle of bumble**** so there was no bus or anything to take there) and that lasted about 2 years, so I feel like I'll be able to handle it semi-decent. But I did get to see that girlfriend every couple months during the school year when we'd pay one of our friends to drive us. Whereas this girl is from Philly (about 5-6 hours from my house) and she'll be in Istanbul from September to early January so I probably won't be seeing too much of her for awhile lol. I don't know. We'll see how it goes. My ex and this girl are the only two girls I've ever really felt an instant connection/attraction to, and this one is easily more mature.

Only other issue is that it's kinda weird for me because she's pretty well off (has her own cleaning lady, flies to pretty much any country she wants to visit on a whim) and I'm not poor or anything, but definitely nowhere near her lol. Kind of a weird feeling.

Edit: And Giggas, that's kinda ironic because this girl is actually from Australia, but she moved here when she was in high school.

So here's my day.

1. Get up, check news and see there was a bomb threat for one of the dorm buildings on campus around 2:15 this morning.
2. Not 10 minutes later I get a text from Pitt Emergency Notification services that there is another bomb threat at the chemistry building.
3. Around 4:00 PM get ANOTHER text from Pitt ENS saying there's a bomb threat for the Cathedral of Learning.

Add that to the 2 threats yesterday and there have been 12 in the past month. Way beyond ridiculous. Pitt is now offering a $50,000 reward leading to the capture and conviction of the idiot(s) responsible.

Man, it sounds like it's getting beyond ridiculous over there, I hope they catch whoever is responsible asap and get that nonsense to stop.

Did a load of laundry today that included 2 of my hats and while I was in the laundry room noticed a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hat sitting on one of the counters down there. Also, that New Era customizable hat thing is cool. If I had the money and they had NFL, NHL, and NCAA logos, I'd definitely consider making and buying one.

Oh, and watching the 11:00 news, a person was apparently struck by a bus in an intersection that I walk through quite frequently and that I actually went through today. No word on the persons condition.

Um...I think this is a hint that you need to move far far away from there.

Seriously, i'd be kinda nervous living there. Be safe my friend!

I do those things every once in awhile, but then sometimes I do some legit drawings too. For "chin" I drew the Crimson Chin from Fairly Oddparents lol

Yeah, so back injuries really ****ing suck.

For the most part mine has been fine since the beginning of last month when I originally injured it, but now the last few days it's starting to flare up and be really annoying.

I blame Wal-Mart.
