I went running on Thursday and hiking on Friday. My legs officially hated me on Saturday. I could barely walk up and down my stairs, haha. Watched Scott Pilgrim for about the 20th time and realized I should have manned up and made that chick watch SP instead of 500 Days of Summer. I am still in contact with this girl, but she's studying abroad for a month in Spain and really won't be back in town until July/August. Yet, I feel a stronger pull to her now than I did before, haha. I feel like George Costanza in The Masseuse. Of course it helps she's barely 21, asian, and a bright-eyed college student. Yesterday I hung out with family and had lots of good food, but I'm disappointed my banana pudding went so quickly lol. It was great. I tried a different recipe and instead of just using vanilla wafers I made a "crumbly mixture" with flour, brown sugar, and wafers (recipe called for peanuts, but I wasn't feeling that adventurous though next time I might try almonds). It was delicious.

I'm really good at sarcastic smartassery and making people laugh, but when I come home from class and my sister is a wreck on the couch because one of her friends hung herself last night, that's really not a situation I have any idea how to deal with.

God the world is messed up sometimes.

God the world is messed up sometimes.

That sucks to hear. Suicide is easily one of the toughest things to have to go through. My second cousin Jim killed himself 6 years ago. That was a rough time.
