Walking from my car to the front door two mallard ducks scared the hell out of me. They were hiding in the bushes and I guess I startled them because one flew up out of there and landed on the asphalt a couple feet in front of me. A couple seconds later another one did the same thing. Damn birds.

Also, I may be strangling a dog in the not too distant future. I have new neighbors and apparently they have a dog, but its one of those yappy sounding dogs. Yesterday I came home and they had the windows open and the dog was going nuts. I could still hear it inside my door. Admittedly I can't hear it when I'm making noise, but every so often I do like quiet time whether its to read or just to have some damn quiet time.

Had a lady tell me the other day that to spice up my water each day that I should put cucumber in it for flavor. Anyone do this?

Lemons or limes for sure, and I've seen others do it.

But cucumbers? Never heard of that. I googled it and apparently a lot of people do so.

Giving it a try for work tomorrow. Apparently you need to let it sit for at least half hour though. We'll see.

I feel like a few of my female friends are kind of scamming people. They keep posting these statuses about some detox body wrap that can help people lose 5 inches around their waist. Even if it's true, there's no way that last for more than a few days, but the way they're selling it, you'd think it would last forever. And when one guy (some personal trainer) called one of them out about it, they all started yelling about how wrong he was, and told him to use the product before he criticizes it. I feel like it's one of those "if it's sounds to good to be true..." type of things.

So apparently after my sister dropped me off after I was out to dinner with her, my nephew, and my mom last night and not far from my apartment she narrowly avoided hitting a drunk guy laying in the middle of the road.
