Re: Off Topic 2012
If you're heading out there in the next few weeks beware that it will probably be grass seed season. If you don't have allergies (like I thought I didn't) you will when that grass pollen gets funneled down the valley, and it's bad. Allergy medication is essential.Last edited by bad_philanthropy; 05-08-2012, 12:31 PM.Comment

As if anyone needed any more proof that clowns are evil and out to get us.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Any of you guys have teenagers you insure on your auto policy? I got a quote for My wife, daughter, myself, 3 cars for 959.00 for a 6 month policy. Basically double what I was paying. I actually expected it to be higher, but am curious what others are paying.... I guess I could call Flo.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. It's hard to go to Eugene and not become a Ducks fan. Although right around when I left the vibe of the fanbase was really changing with a lot of bandwagoners jumping on and behaving disgracefully at games. They might be somewhat off-putting.

Dog, getting back to the anti-depressants for a second. My cousin was on them, as was my grandfather. They were both pretty down for a while - even while on the meds it seemed to get worse (from an outward looking in standpoint.) They are both off and back to what would be normal, after getting off.
Try them if it was recommended, just know they have varying effects on everyone.

Re: Off Topic 2012
Walking through the store today I walked down the diaper isle and just about cried when I saw the prices. My friend who has a 6 month old said diapers were expensive, I knew he wasn't kidding but damn! So I come to this question and it's another reason I think we should have a OS Dad's thread. I was wondering if any Dad's here used cloth diapers on their kids? I think this could save some money as well as being more Eco friendly.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. Re: Off Topic 2012
Unless you have washing machine in your house and buy a lot of cloth diapers, it is just one big pain in the butt. Babies use the bathroom way too damn often IMO that you will be washing cloth diapers all damn day. My solution find a Sam's Club or Costco or some other warehouse type of store and just buy them in bulk. Do the same thing with milk if she isn't going to breast feed.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
Multi Quote button and like buttons are broken but thanks and..Cloth Diapers? No, I work in a hospital and got a massive discount on pampers. We're talking 18.00 per CASE (96).
For you guys paying so much or single coverage, remember I'm not quoting for collision on two of the three cars. Just liabilty. The cars we have are old and not worth the deductibles.
No job no insurance. I'm only paying for 6 months, then she's on her own. No insurance, no drive. The car is in my name.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
