While we're on the subject, which Skate game do you guys favor?

Skate 3 by far. Its always showed back up in my rotation every few months or so. I've beaten all the goals years ago so now I'll find a spot I really like at the time and maybe add a rail or two and just play that area over and over, or I'll hit up the various pools in the residential area.

Some of the community created parks are sweet as well.

Loved and finished Skate 2. Been considering Skate 3 for awhile but I heard they made it easier to play/not as rewarding when you get it right so I'm kinda ehhh on it. But I like the idea of Skate teams in Skate 3.

Man I had a lot of fun with those games. Might have to go out and buy the original again and try to beat that one.

We have little to no food in our fridge because we were in Myrtle Beach last week. So I had to use almond milk as a coffee creamer this morning. Not a good start to my day.

I have never even tasted that stuff.

I don't even remember seeing it in the store.

I might have to pick up Skate 3. I loved 1 but gave it to one of my best buddies Sophomore year of college for some recreational mood changers because he was a) better at it than me and b) a much bigger fan of the sport so it made sense.

I've only played the first one and liked it a lot.

I was always a fan of the Tony Hawk games, but Skate revived the sport in a video game. Just all around fun and challenging game.

Man I really wish they were still making Skate games.

Are any of the snowboarding games actually good and pretty realistic? I haven't played one since Amped for the original Xbox lol.

I've played Tony Hawk 1-4 (4 being the best), Underground 1 and 2, and then SKate.

I played them for the entertainment value, but in 9th grade I got into skateboarding with my friends. It lasted all of about two years.. I was never great, but I could kick flip, heel flip, 360 flip (3 flip) and shove-it... not flawlessly.

Anyone ever play the first Dave Mirra: Freestyle BMX ? I still have it and pop it in sometimes. I still remember hearing Sublime as the first song to play.

The only Skate game I've played was the first one and I thought it was awesome. Very difficult to me because I'm more of a combo guy and not so good with the direction controls, but man it still fun. The difficulty gave it a sense of realism, but it was still arcadish enough to be addicting and fun. For some reason it sells higher than the other 2.

So, everybody seems pretty torn, lol. A couple guys for Skate 3. A lot of guys that have played Skate 1/2 are interested in Skate 3, but haven't played it.

Man I really wish they were still making Skate games.

I thought the most recent SSX was great. Realistic? Hell no, but I was addicted to it for awhile. The community driven aspect of the game is awesome and I hope they continue to explore that style of features in the future.

There was a snowboarding game a couple years ago that I was interested in, but never pulled the trigger on. Name of it was Stoked.

I played Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, Underground 2 and have Skate 3.
I remember THPS3 being one of my most played games in my PS1 but I never understood well the modes and only played Free Skate at the first arena, it was really fun playing against my brothers and see who did the best trick and better score.
I still have Skate 3 but I haven't played it in months, it's a good game but now I've other games in my rotation so there's no time to play it.

I have SSX but unfortunately I don't play it much, I bought it mainly for online but then I don't know anyone who has it to play online with which is a bummer because the game is basically made to be played online.

I just saw 127 hours for the first time. I don't know what I would do in that situation. I couldn't imagine amputating my arm off but when survival mode kicks in I guess I don't know what I would do. I couldnt imagine losing an appendage.
