How dare you not go watch Tim Cahill!
He ain't missing much.. Just another English footballer on the backside of his career trying to re-boot it in MLS. That's why English fans snub David Beckham a lot now a days.

But David Beckham is still really good at what he's good at. He'd be a contributor on a lot of top European teams.

      Also, Tim Cahill is Australian.

Yeah I got muddled up because he did play in England.

A lot of English fans feel like he went to L.A for money, lifestyle, etc.. Us English are very passionate about football. We like our players to have their heart and soul in the game. If they don't, expect to get a lot of chants coming their way.

Honestly, come to a football match here in England. Any team, doesn't matter, the experience is brilliant. The team where I live is in the division below the Premier League, only has 15,000 stadium roughly. And one section is an all-stander, where most teams infamous 'Barmy Army' are located. The one's who create the chants, atmosphere, etc.

English football is great. Home of football.

Saw something hilarious, on the lake today. We were sitting on the dock and a man comes by on a Yamaha Waverunner. Huge Labrador on the front and his wife sitting behind him.

          I'm assuming they are married.

I dunno, I guess because it's pretty much become endemic meaning that it has become established and efforts to curb its spread are no longer useful it isn't as big as it once was. Now you just hear about efforts to control it and prevent outbreaks, and for most people the virus really isn't dangerous. It's just the elderly and very young as well as those with compromised immune systems that will have a higher morbidity and mortality from it.

I saw a video from when that Mars rover landed. It led to a lot of awkward high-fives and bro hugs.

Can someone explain to me why this Mars thing is such a big deal, haven't we landed rovers in the past? Have a hard time understanding the benefit of landing on Mars.
