I don't get how placing a metal pan outside would boost drive thru time

The drive thru has to have something metal, in order for it to alert the inside and start the drive thru timer. We used to take a pan and stand on it and then move it, to lower our time. Corporate paid close
attention to it and it was impossible to have a good time on Friday nights. Numbers wise, we were the busiest Captain Ds in the US.

Yeah I read that 6-7 times trying to figure out what I was missing.

I never even heard of Captain D's. But anyway everything closes at 9pm here except for our 24 hour McDonalds and Price Choppers grocery store that is also 24 hours.

That is one thing I miss about Chicago, a lot of places closed at 4am, including some Viennas restaurants depending on the neighborhood. Was able to walk in any direction and get a gyro or italian beef at 2am.

Have you ever had one of those times where you felt like something was going to be really funny, then you do it; and it works even better than expected, but you then feel like a dick afterwards? Well, I had one of those last night.

Our youngest dog is a little Chiweenie just over a year old. When I let him out last night he kept barking at something in the back yard. In reality he was probably just scared of his own shadow. I finally got him to come back in, but he kept looking outside and barking. I brought him back outside to show him that there was nothing out there, then I sat him inside the fence. He kept staring out into the darkness and barking just like before. While he was distracted doing that, I decided it would be funny to give him a little scare. So I stealthy made my way around the other side of the house and jumped out from the darkness at him while making a monster noise. He proceed to take off in a dead sprint and took a header into our wrought iron fence that was about 3 yards away. I immediately picked him up and he hit his head so hard that it was bleeding a little bit. I felt pretty bad.

Moral of the story is - imma dick

I just received word from the promoter that my new band, Bellicosity, will be opening up for Morbid Angel on 10/2!

I know most of you probably won't know who that even is, but they are a kind of a big deal, Ron Burgundy style.
