I think the Smart Board keeps it from being too outdated. The history class I'm taking this quarter, and the Spanish class at my community college last winter were outdated.

Awkward moment @ my son's daycare yesterday.

My wife works @ the front window. I go in to chat with her yesterday afternoon. I then head out the door to run a couple errands.

As I am walking, she yells " Bye. Love you. "

To which I reply in this chronological order:

1. I yell back "Bye."

2. In walks hot daycare mom not knowing I am involved in a prior conversation. I am an eye-contact person, so I stare into the woman's eyes and yell to my wife...

3. "I love you." (We don't use too as a reply, just an us thing.)

4. She basically strafes the wall looking @ me crazily.

5. I realize what just happened and how it looks to this woman, look @ the ground, and do a fast walk/slow jog out the door.

That lunch has a done a number on me...lord help that toilet. Whew. Worst thing is I have an 'event' to attend, social event, and will be drinking heavy. That same toilet tomorrow morning will be going through hell.

I've driven a Chevy Impala, Toyota Avalon, BMW x3 and x5, Dodge Charger, Ford Edge, Ford Mustang GT, and a Hyndai Sonata today.

It never really hits me how many cars I seem to drive on a daily basis.

Oh the joys of selling cars.

Tried to use the bank right next to my building today for the first time and took too long to fill out the deposit slip. It cancelled the transaction and told me to take my card. Card was not there. I thought it may have blown away because it's windy as hell today, but a quick search revealed nothing. Went inside to tell someone my card was eaten by the machine and after a brief check she comes back to tell me they have my card... but can't give it back to me.

How weird is that? They literally confiscated my card. I had to drive all the way out to my regular credit union and explain what happened. When they called the bank that was holding my card hostage, the captives said it was too late, they'd already destroyed it. They ordered me a new one so that's cool, but still what a weird rule. All because I didn't deposit quick enough... there's a sex joke in there somewhere but I can't put it together right now.

Was it one of the ATMs where you swipe it thru or where it takes your ATM card and then has you enter your PIN and the type of transaction you want?

If it's the latter, I think you have like 10-15 seconds to remove it before it sucks it back up and once it does that, there's no way to get that card back.
