PIEDMONT, Calif. (KGO) -- An alert by the principal of Piedmont High School has raised concerns among parents. In a letter sent last week, the principal says his staff discovered a so-called "fantasy slut league" among students.

In the letter, Principal Rich Kitchens describes "a 'Fantasy Slut League' in which our female students (unbeknownst to most of them) are drafted as part of the league...Male students earn points for documented engagement in sexual activities with female students."

According to the letter, school staff learned about this during a recent assembly about date rape prevention.

An investigation was launched on campus and they learned this has been going on for five to six years.

The principal wrote, "Participation often involved pressure/manipulation by older students that included alcohol to impair judgment/control and social demands to bepopular."

ABC7 News spoke with Superintendent Constance Hubbard about the letter.

"We wanted to make sure that parents were aware of things that were going in their kids' lives," Hubbard said.

Many parents said they were surprised to hear about the "fantasy slut league," but most didn't want to talk about it. They said Piedmont is a small town, and that is a very sensitive subject.

I have a similar question as to the comments section from the website you got that from (I assume), Aero -


Do you draft a team and then only try to go for those girls in order to earn points...or do you draft a team and then get points when anyone sleeps with her?

That'd add some strategy - "I'll draft this girl because I know she's easy and everyone will sleep with her" Vs "I'll draft this girl because I know I'm the only one who can get her" kind of thing.

And really, girls must love this, if they're a top ranked player. I mean, what girl wouldn't like to be a number 1 pick - even if it's just because you're easy. Embrace it and be the best fantasy slut player you can be. Have people fighting over you on draft day and ****.

Reading the story on HuffingtonPost

Many parents told KGO-TV that they were surprised to hear about the fantasy league. While parent Bianca Forrester told the station that she's pleased the administration is willing to take on the issue, others like parent Carole Parker commented to Piedmont Patch that school officials aren't doing enough, expressing disbelief that those responsible for the league are unidentifiable.

The schools aren't doing enough? Surely these kids aren't having sex during school.

Schools/teachers get **** on from every direction.

Add in the fact that you would probably have to stop messing with sure bets if they aren't on your team so you could win.

What sucks is that I would've been the frittata of this League, though.

I've lost 40 lbs since my roommate moved away.

I'm still fat, just 40 lbs less fat.

It was a good feeling to be asked "where's the rest of you?" when I saw my mom around Mothers day a few months back

Yeah the teachers/principal are stuck between a rock and hard place. Parents can be tough to work with.

This just reminds me of the crazy er "services" that were rendered at my school. Let's just say some of the young women accepted money for "services rendered".

Yeah I've already been warned to try not to be alone in a room with a female student just because you never know what BS they'll make up.

I thought that I would be fine since I did two a days every year and ran track but wrestling practices were easily the hardest things I had ever experienced in sports. It was all worth it for the tournaments and fine girls doing collecting stats, though.

Yeah I saw some of the stuff they did at my school, looked rough.

The worst practice/workout I had was one in JV sophomore year when we lost 48-0. We were told we gave up, we ran sprints from the 10, 20, etc. all the way to 100 yards then back down several times that was probably a couple miles of sprinting. Had no idea I could run that much, we gathered around thinking we were done then proceeded to do 150 up downs.

I was a counselor in 4 high schools last year and I always got nervous when the girls would come in my office alone and close the door. I made sure that the door was wide open. I wasn't trying to get caught in a bad situation, especially since I was only a few years older than them.
