Wow, I wouldn't even think that would cross an 8 yr old's mind. That's terrible.

It depends on if I'm at home or work. Our coffee maker is smaller at home, so I use one "big" scoop. I like my coffee a little strong.

I'm not sure, but they're probably never ever ever ever ever getting back together.

I don't keep up with her, but I remember her looking hotter previously. I don't remember her being that skinny either, but maybe I misremembering.

A few weeks ago my wife and I were called by the school principal to tell us our son had been in an altercation and she wanted to speak with us.
Apparently, as told by a handful of 4th grade kids, 1 boy was picking on my son's best friend in the lunch line. My son told him to stop being a bully. The boy confronted my son at which time my son decides to go for the gut. Doubled the kid over.
Surprisingly, my son didn't get in trouble. But during the conversation with the principal she told us to be mindful of our sons behavior. I told her we will be sure to do that. I'll tell him good job on going to the gut of that bully and not the nose. Face shots can hurt your hand.

A group of us at work are dressing up for Halloween and our costume is the 7 Deadly Sins, any ideas on how to dress up as wrath/anger? I am thinking a serial killer, but not sure what to do.

Yeah, everyone has a different idea of parenting, but my parents always taught me to stand up for myself.

Apparently it doesn't matter if you fight back or not. It's hard for someone to teach their kid to not take up for themselves, when they are going to be disciplined either way in the local school system.

That's so sad. 8 years old man and wanting to take his life.

I've been seeing stories of elementary kids committing suicide over bullying. just so crazy. I don't think I even knew what suicide was.

For the record. I tell my son. "Fight back, fight back hard". Don't take no ****. He knows he may get in trouble at school but at home he gets no flack for defending himself. And what's funny is he has never really had to defend himself but he has defended his friends numerous times. Typically just shouting matches. This time was physical.</p>
I know this time he didn't get into real trouble with the school but the next time I'm sure will be different.

So I'm watching a show on Discovery Channel, and they're talking about the possibility of a dark star that is orbiting the sun at the edge of the solar system. They think this star may be the cause of the consistency of mass extinctions on Earth (every 26 million years or so). The theory of this star is called the Nemesis theory.

                                Pretty interesting stuff.
