This is probably the oldest news ever, but I just realized we have moderators named Sandman42, 42, and Mo.

Appropriate considering the number of threads that get closed.

Save for sandman (putting threads to sleep/bed), I'm not sure I follow. We all know ryan36 is the closer.

In other news, got a weird text a little while ago that was from some weird looking email address and had a subject line of 'funny thing about Romney' and body text containing a link to a YouTube video. I promptly erased it. Another Pittsburgh OSer said they got the same thing after I tweeted about it.

Just finished up season 5 at UNC, in NCAA 13.

#3 in the country and 12-1 with the Heisman Trophy Winner and our reward is playing a 4 loss, unranked Syracuse team in the Orange Bowl.


Seems pretty realistic to me.. lol

The curry is a very strong smell that lingers forever. Gets stuck to your clothes and everything. I actually enjoy most Indian food, but feel it is something that should be eaten in your own home, or at an Indian restaurant.

The oddest thing is going on in my house right now. The whole block has no power on day 3 now. So I just random;y decided to open my laptop to play solitaire or some **** like that and I see that I have internet bars on my indicator. So Im obviously hallucinating after two days with no sustenance of internet right? Nope. By some act of God im getting a signal even though my router is not getting power or is on.

At this point I dont know if im am magically connected to the internet or that Im having the most epic inception dream moment in my life. This is bonkers. Will update after I see DiCaprio and the gang trying to go deeper into my subconscious...or until I actually find out why this is happening.

The satellite guy for our building, I call him Dish Don, either has no idea how to fix things, or is incredibly lazy. I've been waiting 2 weeks for him to fix a problem & I've been getting email updates from the landlord saying he'll be over to fix it, and he never shows up. Then Handyman Jim knocks on the door to tell me Dish Don is here but won't need to come inside, not sure why he had to tell me that but ok. Oh and even though he was here, he won't be back to fix it until at night. Well that night the Dish signal came back on so I figured he fixed it. Nope, after a few hours it went right back to "Acquiring satellite signal". Been updating the landlord about it but she doesn't want to respond anymore. UGH!

A lot of router/modems have battery backups.

Regarding curry: It doesn't bother me that much but it's because i've grown up with that food in my house (I don't eat it myself) and we don't have it very often so it's not a huge deal to me though the preparation and cooking of curry? Yeah that's a smell I hate because not only does it linger but it sticks to your clothes for days it seems.

Curry, much like fish, is something that should be cooked outside of the house.
