My family got it's first computer around 1990 or 91. Was an MS-DOS machine with a whopping 1 MB hard drive.

My parents never been into technology. To this day.......

They still don't own a camera of ANY kind.

They using a 12 yr old laptop that use to be my older sister's running XP.

They bought their 1st wireless router last year.

Mom never owned a cell phone. Dad has a cell phone, just a regular flip.

Neither of them ever used an ipod or mp3 player or even know what Itunes is.

Hell, they still rocking tube tv. Don't own a single flat screen at all.

About the only thing they ever use the PC for is to check email maybe once a week. They don't browse the web at all and never bought anything online. Hell they even refuse to pay bills online.

To them, pay everything in person and buy everything in person. To them browsing the internet is for lames. They would rather talk to people in person then via a damn PC.

Yeah we had some sort of MS-DOS. Upgraded to an HP running Win98 probably around 98, and I used that biotch until I got a desktop in 2006. Looking back it was kinda cool knowing all its little fallacies and when to do or not do something. I have a unique relationship with my devices. Treat them with respect and they'll do the same... That's how it works right?

We got our first computer in '01. I remember they hooked it up on the last day of 5th grade...was a Gateway with Windows ME. It lasted like 4 years until the motherboard crapped out.

I actually liked Vista. I'm trying to find someone who has a Windows 7 CD but I'm not having any luck. I found an XP theme that looks exactly like Vista to hold me over.

You are the first person I've ever seen to say they liked Vista.

First computer I remember my family having is a piece-of-crap Tandy with an OS called Deskmate.

I distinctly remember it quite prominently advertised an amazing 8-color palette, and also the lone boot-up message: "Memory Size 64k".

I think this computer _may_ have run Wolfenstein 3D. Maybe.

Just found out that one of my favorite YouTubers, GassyMexican got kicked out of the Creatures.... Wtf... Oregon loses, I lost in NBA 2K13, and now this. Why November 17th? Wait, tomorrow's the Wii U, then the 19th, then my Bros bday, and then Thanksgiving break.... This is a sign.
