Google and Facebook are your friends for that.
Question: Chick I've been talking to pulled out the "moral dilemma" BS card after leading this charge her own self. Not that I'm surprised. I just need to cool down. Now, we're supposed to go out to dinner with our friend and then watch a movie or something after dinner. The question is do I watch the movie after dinner?Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
Is this HS or college?
If it's college I wouldn't study at all. I had that situation once too. I knew no matter what I would not get a C. I didn't study, but I did go take the test just to see what it was like. I knew I'd have to retake the class...and that the new grade would overwrite by terrible one.
And would the 2nd time taking that class overwrite the original mark on the overall GPA calculation(or might that just vary depending on the school) or what?
Main thing I'm just concerned bout is passing the class the 2nd time around, cause thanks to summertime, I can take another class in summer, but if I can't pass this class 2nd time around, I'll be forced to take it in summer, and won't graduate on time.
It's not one of those "if you studied more, maybe you'd do better" scenarios, it's one of those "it's math...." situations lol. I hated math in high school, and when going to college, I really thought my program wouldn't have this type of stuff, but part of it does require this(most of it thankfully doesn't) so I'm forced to do it now.Comment

The problem is, you'll get the most random people signing up and it would never work. You would almost have to organize the tournament with only Supporters or specific people
+ trying to monitor and dictacte how people play the game would be a nightmare.Comment

I'm sure people have tried and you usually catch a thread or so about it every year in the NCAA and Madden forums.

a 12 game schedule with a 3 round playoff, I filled up but only about 8 checked in when it finally filled, never got it running. I thought it'd be a cool idea to just do the playoff part since the playoff system is in the minds of many college football fans. Would love to try it someday, but the dictating of how people play is the tough part, just curious if its worked out before...Native Georgian. Adopted Texan.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
I used to Commish a league on LeagueDaddy.
I loved that whole system, even if imputing stats could be a bit tedious. My friend and I ran a 120 team league where everyone who was in had two teams. If you had the best rated team, it's counterpart would be the worst team.
It ran for five seasons over NCAA 05 and 06 and then we shut it down in 07.
Man, I miss the days when I had that kind of free time. We had guys writing specific articles for different games and even a short 3 minute "radio" recap of the previous weeks games and we let coaches schedule their own OCC games against opponents... good times.
The playoffs were one of the best aspects to that. We had a 16 team playoff to end every season and then "bowl games" for everyone who didn't make the playoffs.. so much work put in to that league.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
Yeah, I know, right after I joined I started a forum over in NCAA, where I had 24 teams, they were the top 24 overall and then I had them pick a number and gave them that team I assigned to the number, then I generated

Re: Off Topic 2012
Anyway, I've got a question for y'all...
So there's this girl that I've been talking to for a while, don't really know if it's going anywhere yet, etc, but anyway, after one of my classes yesterday, I was talking to her about studying for the final and then I left and she had to talk to our prof. quick, so I headed downstairs. When I got to the bottom and I heard her say hey to this other guy, kind of benign, but she sounded way more excited to see him than when I'm talking to her (usually, I'm the one who has to start the conversation). Is this a sign that this isn't going anywhere, or am I just reading way too far into this? I have a feeling it's probably just me reading too much into it, but I figured I'd ask.MLB: Minnesota Twins
