See, I was the opposite, I've owned a Sega Genesis (that I didn't even get until I was around 11, in 2003.) and an XBox 360. My Genesis was a hand-me-down from one of my cousins (different cousin than mentioned before), and actually, he wants it back (for nostalgia sake) and he's going to trade me his PS1, which I'm fine with, as I haven't used the Genesis in quite some time. The furthest I've gotten on Sonic (Sonic 2 to be exact) is the Mystic Cave Zone and my brother's gotten as far as Sky Chase, but neither of us have ever beaten the game.

Systems in the house:
NES - Gameboy - Genesis - N64 - Gamecube - PS1 - PS2 - Xbox - Wii - Xbox360
I've never really been a handheld gaming person, but there was a Batman animated series game that I played the absolute hell out of.
My brother had the N64 and Gamecube, but was never really much into games. I did manage to play some Luigi's Mansion and other random games on the GC and of course Mario and DK on 64. My neighbor had the Star Wars games and we would play Cruisin' USA as well. The only karting game we had was the South Park one. It was pretty epic, though.

Does that mean you guys are never ever ever ever ever getting back together ?
At the very least, you must be an an *** and unworthy of her if she conveyed her feelings with a Taylor Swift song.
It's okay though, you can still hold on to the fact that you drive her crazy and she hates that she can't love you.
IDK if this is going really well or if it's about to spiral out of control. And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

She asked if I heard the song, I said no, then she just sent the YT link
Nope, the opposite. She's "sick" so she was home alone so I dropped her off a little care package, you know to keep her vitamin D intake up.
IDK if this is going really well or if it's about to spiral out of control.
Vitamin 'D', eh ?

Re: Off Topic 2012
I never played Donkey Kong 64, but I did play all of the Donkey Kong Country games for SNES. Those things were groundbreaking, in terms of the graphics.
Like I mentioned before, I stole my sisters N64 a bunch and often rented games for it just so I could play it. My friend had one too and we had a lot of fun playing Goldeneye and Mario Kart.
I thought it was cool that you could plug in so many controllers. I remember having to get a controller hub thing for both my SNES and PS1 so my friends could all get in on some Madden and Gameday 98. Somehow we managed to make it work with so many on one team.
I own quite a few systems. NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega Game Gear, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, and Wii.
Proud to say my NES and SNES play like new. Kept them in great shape over all these years. I was actually playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game on NES the other day.
Love my old systems.Comment

Oh man people really have to be carefully buying from Amazon. Not everything sold on Amazon is sold by Amazon. So people really need to be careful and read WHO it is being shipped and sold by. Some of these companies shipping fees is sky high, like over $10 to $15 bucks for ONE game or DVD and they shipping from the USA for REGULAR shipping.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
NES was the **** as far as I'm concerned. Probably my favorite game, outside of TSB obviously, was this racing game called RC Pro AM II. With the multi-tap, you could play 4 players. Many a sleepover with my brother at our one friends house playing that until 4am. We probably had like 50+ games for NES. It was originally my parent's, actually. There was a lot of quality games back then. Simpler times, I suppose...
We got an SNES in the early 2000's for nostalgia purposes but it didn't compare anyway. After N64 (probably ultimate multiplayer system), went Xbox and now PS3. Not sure what I'm gonna go for next. Deciding between 360 and PS3 was such a big decision in early 2009. PS3 fit my gaming profile best though, absolutely love it. I like changing it up though so I may go back to Xbox next generation. We'll see what they have to offer.

Many a good time getting shot/bombed by those stupid planes when I was winning.

I would put the music in Mega Man 2 for NES up against any other music in video game history.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Off Topic 2012
The music in the Donkey Kong Country games was epic. Way ahead of its time. No other game tops it, in my opinion. The music variation for each level was outstanding. The music in those games takes me back to being a kid. I was 10 back in 1995 when I got the first DKC for Christmas. Good times back then.
