Yeah I work tonight, then gotta be up early tomorrow for work too. But I'm out early afternoon, off Sunday, and only a few hours in afternoon/early evening on Christmas Eve. Off Christmas, then back to it on Wednesday. I'll take my "extended" weekend, though.
I'm really excited for Christmas. The family comes upstate to gather at my Dad's and it's always just so nice. First year we're (my brothers and I) all moved out but the old house still feels like home.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Today will be my last 12 hour shift until next year. After today I'm off until New Years day. Re: Off Topic 2012
I'm really not that excited for Christmas, honestly.
I've got too many places to go, to be able to enjoy myself.
Perks of having divorced parents ? I think I'll get the most enjoyment out of watching my niece and nephew open their Christmas presents.
My Mom's side of the family has been anti social with one another, since my grandfather passed away last year. The family hasn't been the same since and we have all always been really close. There's still plenty of jokes cut, but I can sit in a room full of family members and I'll only be spoken to maybe once or twice in an hour..
+ I have nothing in common with any of my cousins. They have all had brand new **** handed to them their entire life, while my parents made me buy my own car and get a job, while I was in high school. I've honestly heard them complain about not getting what they want for Christmas..
I could really sit and rant about it forever. I am sort of looking forward to seeing my dad's side of the family. We have a lot more in common and it's fun catching up with everyone. Even my grandmother, who will likely bitch at me for not coming to see her over the past month.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
I haven't "worked" for my internship since the week after Thanksgiving (BTW, Finals the first week of the December are soooooo clutch) so I called my "boss" and this was our conversation:
"I haven't came in and worked in a while and I'm not really doing anything between Christmas and New Years..."
"Do you FEEL like coming in to just sit and shoot the ****? I'm sitting here for two hours a day and going home."
I'm getting 3 credit hours a semester for this too. College isn't that bad after all.And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Yeah well at least a lot of you guys get to work. I'm practically home ridden for at least the next two weeks because of my surgery. Gonna try and talk to my boss and figure something out though. Doctor is recommending 4 weeks, but I will literally go insane if I have to sit around the house for that long.Indianapolis Colts
