    WTF?

Despite her good grades and success in musical shows, David and Julie Ireland often drove 600 miles from Leawood, Kan., to visit their daughter unannounced. They accused her of using illegal drugs, promiscuity and suffering from mental woes. She insisted none of that was true and asked them to stop, but their accusations escalated. They informed her department head she had mental issues that could force them to go to court to have her treated.

The parents knew about what they saw as their daughter’s problems because, they admit, they installed monitoring software on her laptop and cellphone, allowing them to see her every keystroke and phone number dialed or received. It was “like I was a dog with a collar on,” said the daughter, a dean’s list student every quarter.

The parents became such an issue that the school hired security guards to keep them out of their daughter’s performances. When the parents stopped paying her tuition because she’d cut off all contact with them, the school gave her a full scholarship for her final year.

Yeah, I have better balance than my players on NCAA 13 and I don't have very good balance. It's like my guy gets hit once and seemingly breaks the tackle only to stumble and fall 2 steps later while the CPU guy pretty much never loses his balance.

Same way I eat it in the privacy of my apartment. I try to be neat, but don't care to much if I end up getting stuff on my face and all over my fingers.

I used to get their popcorn chicken bites, but I don't know if they changed the recipe or what because they started having this weird taste and I didn't like them anymore.

That's what was so weird about it, the CPU guy wasn't touched once, yet he stumbled and fell once he was in the clear, I've never seen that before. I don't know how to upload clips or I'd show it (I acknowledge how sad it is that in my 30 years on this earth I've never bothered to learn how to upload highlights ).

Finally, Gametime tomorrow. We're the underdogs going into this, and its a tournament. If we win this tourney, we could finally put our names on the map and start gaining more respect. So definitely a lot of pressure.

So some of you may know I've had foot problems for the past three years (bad heel injury).

I got this foot spa thing for Christmas that I can soak my feet into. It has jets, keeps the water warm, the whole nine.

I've used it the last two days, and though it has been relaxing, I have woken up to incredibly sharp foot pain (on the injured one, of course). Is there anything logical that might say this pain is simply a therapeutic form of activating some unused/weak muscles in my foot area? Or do you maybe somehow think that warm water is, I don't know... damaging my foot?

Perhaps it's just inflammation? Would anybody happen to know?

You sure you don't have bone spurs in your feet ? Sounds like it if warm water causing it to hurt. Are you sure it is the warm water or just the fact your foot is submerged in water for a long time ?

No, I'm not sure it's bone spurs. I've had every diagnosis known to man, and none have had anything which seems to have worked.

I'm also not sure that it's the warm water. I'm thinking it shouldn't be. Keep in mind that both of my feet are under water, and my right foot feels better than ever. My left foot however feels worse than ever.

Is the sharp pain immediate when you wake up, or just when you put pressure on it? If it's from pressure, it might be plantar fasciitis, when I had my plantar fasciitis I went on vacation and it hurt way worse the morning after sitting in a hot tub.

                        Pressure-based.

I've had plantar fasciitis as a diagnosis. Any follow-up treatments and physical therapies I have tried from it haven't helped. Same for every other diagnosis.

October 4th, 2009 will forever haunt my memory. No, I wasn't taken out by a sniper rifle, but that was the first day of the injury.

You might try icing it after the bath, google said that you should always ice plantar fasciitis after heat, so it might be worth a shot.

What did they have you do, stretches and taping it during the day?

I had a few leg stretches, band stretches, self-massages, and was rolling it on a block of ice. Maybe I'll try that stuff again.

Thanks though, I'll be sure to try it out!

What helped me, I stretched it before bed and first thing when I got up (only stretch I used was what they call the "wall stretch" except I didn't use a wall), and during the day I taped it up. For taping I ran tape on the sole of my foot from front to back, first making an X from big toe to opposite side of the heel, then little toe to opposite side of heel, then front to back. Next I put on a sock and ran tape around my foot at the arch, on top of the sock mainly because I have hairy hobbit feet. With that combo my pain went away pretty quick and the fasciitis went away completely in a few weeks and I stopped taping, now I don't even remember to do the stretches so it's pretty much cured. When I had it though, it was horrible, felt like someone had crushed my heel with a sledgehammer during the night when I tried to stand on it in the morning.
