Yeah I've already given up drinking soda for good a while back, just way too bad for you with all the Sugars, Fructose Syrup, and empty Calories.

My teeth have already paid the price, still need to go to the dentist from some of the damage years of drinking Soda has done.

Uh, duhhh. Soda is terrible for you. I've read that they use Coke to clean blood off the highways after accidents. A T-Bone steak can dissolve if soaked in Coke for a day or two. It's awful.

Anyway, it's acidic, that's what acids do. Vinegar, citrus, pineapple and other acidic fruits will do the same thing. As far as consuming acids like these, they very much pale in comparison to stomach acids, so your digestive system is more than capable of handling them.

Regarding Digestion drinking Soda is not a problem, if you can manage the extra calories.

My problem comes with the Dental side of drinking soda, I've already paid the price and am suffering in a lot of pain from years of drinking soda. Soft drinks are probably the leading cause of Tooth Decay because the high acidity dissolves Tooth enamel pretty quickly.

If you don't have extremely good dental hygiene Soda can still cause you problems, I thought I was brushing taking care of my teeth well enough when I was a Soda Drinker, apparently not.
