I can't believe those schools have basketball teams. Would not have guessed.


Anyway - two Saturdays ago UMD/North Dakota hockey. One of the better games I've seen in quite some time. Ended 5-4. This weekend, Colorado College comes to town.

Also on the horizon - just planned out a trip to the Milwaukee area for the Twins/Brewers series in May. Will be going with my brother, uncle, cousins, and one of my best friends from HS/college. Should be a blast!

Duke/FSU game was a lot of fun despite the outcome. It was very awesome to see a Coach K team in person not to mention the way Austin Rivers has been playing as of late.

Had some pretty good seats and managed to snag a white Beat Duke shirt for being early.

Duke/FSU game was a lot of fun despite the outcome. It was very awesome to see a Coach K team in person not to mention the way Austin Rivers has been playing as of late.

When I was at NCSU, we always got first couple of rows on the sidelines, opposite to the joke that is the Student Wolfpack Club.

Yeah we just get directly behind the 2 hoops and then beyond. I like that area I sit in tho, nice angle/view of the entire court.

Charlotte Checkers game tonight...wooo. :/ I haven't been to a lot of sports events over the last couple years. I went to the Panthers vs Saints game last fall, before that it was another Checkers game around this time last year. I need to go to more Bobcats games.

Went to the Iowa/Wisconsin game on Thursday. It was the loudest Carver Hawkeye Arena has been since 2006 and it was nearly full. I had a blast seeing one heck of a Iowa win.

Went to the ARCA Racing Series race today. It was the first time this national touring series come to Mobile in the series 60 year history and a hometown kid won the race.

Last Saturday, the high school I teach at defended their state championship in boy's basketball.

Back to back for the first time, since I graduated back in 1998 (we 3-peated from 95-98).
