After lurking this thread, I felt I had to share the Little Moment that hooked me.

Playing Cavs/76ers yesterday. Close game in the 4th, i'm only up by a few with like a minute left. I hit Delonte with a pass on a fast break. He goes driving in, gets hammered by Dalembert AND gets the shot to go. In most games, I would've been the only one celebrating the clinching shot, but after the shot drops it cuts to Delonte, who is laying on the floor. He gives a huge fist pump, it looks like he's yelling something, and I could tell he was just as excited as I was.

That was the moment where I knew I loved this game.

Well, I finally found it. I love the 2K series, but I just found the reason I am returning it after playing it for 2 hours. I was in franchise mode, and being NFL purist I am, I play on 15 minute quarters. Well, low and behold, on the weekly wrap-up, everyone else's simulated scores are like 60-70 points. I wonder why. I check the stats, and everyone stats are around 1000 yards total offense!!! So you are telling me that Sega programmed the damn game to be simulated as full games on 5 minute quarters?!?! And when you up it, it TRIPLES OTHER TEAMS OUTPUT!!! Player of the week was Michael Strahan, with 78 TACKLES. I love the gameplay, but this has just ruined my franchise experience. I hope Sega finds soem way to fix it, or am I missing something?

Yo, Man I gotta check this out b/c I was up half the night slowing the speed of every bodys ratings down to make it slower. But if this true...... Man I will give you mad props from now until 2004 is out. I'm gonna have some words to say to EA about this, you know the profane kind. But all I wanna know is if the shooting percentage is down, also steals and blocks b/c I'm sick of the bulls shootin 79% each n every game. But now it all makes more sense, the arcade and sim is reversed. If u right, Thanks Dog b/c I was just gonna take the game back this weekend!

Ok, I remember seeing this one and it was someone who doesn't really talk about basketball now. I have two people in mind, so I'm going to go with my first guess of WeAreAllWitnesses, a.k.a. Dayman.
