    Re: Tornado Season 2012

Just looked outside and there's about an inch of snow on the ground here. Tomorrow and Tuesday high temperatures are supposed to be 56 and 63, respectively. Yeah, I doubt anyone will get sick or anything with the weather acting like a yo-yo.

We have over 6" of snow now. All I can do is laugh. The recovery efforts are put to a screeching halt currently. This weather... Shaking my head.

Wow, was that even predicted? We were predicted to get about 1-3 inches. I'd say we got maybe two inches. I think it's supposed to jump back into the 60's in a few days. Like I said.. Just Stupid.

Well, it said we'd be lucky to get an inch, since the ground was so warm. I woke up at around 4:30 this morning, and saw it, just shook my head.

Later on this week, beginning tomorrow mid-50's to the 60's the rest of the week.

This isn't really funny, with all that's been going on. But, Seriously what's next? A blizzard with a tornado in it?

It's not out of the realm of possibility with the way the weather is around here.

Saturday is not looking good at all. Only the second time high risk has been issued on day 2, and the first wasn't issued until later in the day. This was also a day 3 moderate risk, and from what I read the last time that happened was April 27th, 2011.

Hope everyone in the path is safe this weekend.

^^^ Just read about this over at accuweather. Everybody out in that area stay safe. I'm wondering if that system is going to hold together until it hits the atlantic.

Not this again... last year was hell, tornado-wise. So many monsters that hurt a lot of people. I'm out here right around Philadelphia, and we had two tornado's touch down, though nothing too serious. It's scary knowing it can happen even around here, where we don't see this type of thing much at all.

^that weather map looks like a tornado ..... does nobody else looooooove tornados? they're beautiful, powerful, deadly. i dunno, i've never been involved in one so maybe i would feel differently if i had, but if, for some strange reason i die someday, going out in a tornado would be towards the top of the list of the best ways to go.

Looks like most of the Tornadoes are expected to hit overnight tonight.

                            TOR:CON is at 7, 8/10. Not good.

Good sized tornado southwest of Salina, KS. Hope it turns or dissipates before it gets there, about 45K people in Salina, not to mention the smaller cities between there and the tornado.

Had one touchdown not to far from my house back home overnight. Only damage I have seen were to the old baseball fields by the sewer treatment plant (good riddance)
