Hi all, My wife lost her job last week. Although that sucks, she is very good at what she does and she is already getting some nice job offers. One in particular is one hour outside of Atlanta, in the Greensboro area. We live in Portland , Maine now and I'd like to get an idea of what the area is like.
I've already started looking at homes online and there are several nice ones for sale. Personally I'm thrilled. I would love to live one hour away from a city that actually has Professional sports teams.
Also I'm a painting contractor and I would have to start from scratch in a new area , or even possibly work for another contractor, but I'm fine with that. On the plus side I could work outside just about all year. There is also the possibility of me working for the same company in their shipping and receiving department. I'm also a drummer, been playing for 36 years so maybe there's a decent music scene in the area?
