So I'm new in these parts.

So, it's finally come to this.

After many years of being an active watcher of the site (I first found the place looking for custom covers for MLB the Show), I have decided to register.

This won't be a long (in my opinion) post, nor will it be (too) informative, but I figured I'd at least get the first one out of the way. Because you know what they say, the first one is always the hardest.

So I guess I should share at least a little about myself.

My name is Jake Kostik. I live in New Hampshire, and I am unable to find a real job anywhere, so I mostly lend my hand being a global moderator on another site. I'm not great at it, but it lets me feel like I'm doing something.

I'm a pretty big baseball fan. It to this day is the only sport I follow seriously. I am a Red Sox fan, and probably one of the more optimistic ones. Yes. I am a pre-04 fan. I have been a Sox fan for many years, and I'm proud of it. It's hard not to get called a bandwagoner, even though they are my home team, and I've loved them for as long as I can remember. Guess it's what comes with liking a team that just happens to win.

One day, I aspire to get married and be a father. That's it. I have no ambitions of big pay days, or climbing a ladder. I could care less what I do for a living, because the only thing that matters to me, is raising my own family. Especially given the type of home I grew up in.

I am currently engaged. It's kind of strange, but after 1 1/3 years we've decided to enter a long engagement. We don't have a time table for a wedding, just so long as it happens before our 30's or so. We have plenty of time.

So I've talked your ears off long enough. I doubt anyone will read this, but it's still nice to feel like I've done something of merit today.

Well, I like that you can spell properly and create proper sentences.

Points off for saying "could care less", and being a Red Sox fan though

    Welcome, man!

Of course haha, I mean it's not like I want to be unemployed :P

I'll be jumping all over the first job I get, but what that job is, is unimportant (to me) so long as it helps keep things going, you know?

And thanks for the welcome guys.

To be accepted in our order, you must PM user Millennium with a 150 word essay about why the Orioles suck , have sucked, and will keep on sucking ever since Earl Weaver lost his capability to please a lady.

I could do it in one word, and that would be enough. 149 other words would only beg redundancy. :P

You know, I have the slightest feeling you are trolling me :P But that couldn't be it right? I mean, you guys are sooo nice to post in my thread.

You forgot the most important part. You must also tell him why the Steelers are better than the Ravens.

That would be a little harder for me.

Considering I think the Ravens are a much better team.
