    Re: Skydiving

I did it and loved it. The only part that feels like your falling is when you first jump out of the plane. When you are free falling it just feels like you're floating because you are so high up.

        Re: Skydiving

I want to do it but it's easy to say that when I'm on the ground. I have a feeling that if I ever do it and I'm about ready to jump I'll chicken out. I think it's something I'll do eventually though.

Wow, I don't think I could ever bring myself to do it. I just can't get over the fact that the only thing keeping me from falling thousands of feet to my death is a tarp in a backpack. Not for I guess, but good luck, half fun, and post pics!

Generally no, once you get out of the plane you realize how cool it is. I did a few night jumps and the knot in my stomach did not go away until I was completely done with jump school cuz that ish is scary.

Yea I paying extra to have it recorded. So I will definitely post the video here once I do it. I would love to go through jump school but it costs $1,100 over here. But after that every jump is only $25

So, I brought the idea back to the surface with a few friends from work and some others and we've finally got some takers.

So far I have 10 people who are down to do it and a few who say they will, but I don't trust their word at all..

Going to try calling Monday and reserving a spot for about a month in advance on a Sunday. That will give everyone enough time to get their deposit to me and make sure we know who's going for sure. If we get 10+ they give a $30 discount for each person.

It's a little bit away and I'm all ready excited as hell, about it...

We've got two who want to go that went last year.. so they know what to expect, all ready..

I'm down for doing it within a few weeks, but most will prob. need time to save the cash. I'll end up paying extra for the video, too..

I want to go on my birthday this June. Not only will it be my first time Sky diving but it will be the first time I've been in an airplane.
