Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
To extrapolate on what Mabster said, a lot of this has to do with where you live and what you do there...
Bottom line:
Key to being a "Sharp Dressed Man" is to be an "Appropriately Dressed Man"...
Like, you wouldn't wear a sport coat to the beach, so don't wear those damn mandals, unless there's a pool or a beach within sight...

Also:
Tip of the (classy hat) to Nathan...
Encouraging to see a young guy rock the "Lupe / Durant" preppy / backpacker / urban nerd thing...
Well played, young Sir...Comment

Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
I guess it depends on your age, appearance and most importantly what you wear with it. If it matches the rest of the outfit it could look cool but if not it will just seem like a strange ad on.http://www.lids.com/LIDS-Private-Label/20374493
What do you think guys think about this? I've been told by females its something their grandfather would wear.
And to hop in on the Sperry's conversation, I'm getting a pair they are nice.
What do you guys think about ankle socks with boat shoes / sperry's etc when worn with shorts?

Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
Denim shorts are ok along as they aren't TIGHT. That pic look like the guy took some tight jeans and just cut the legs off of them.
I call that the Wriglely Field look. Because around there in Chicago you will see a lot of dudes rocking shorts just like that in that pic, with some cut even shorter.Comment

I think they can look ok (especially darker denim's) if they are a little on the loose side but nothing stupidly baggy like Lil Wayne or something. TBH I'm not a huge fan of the skinny jean look but mainly because years of playing football and squatting heavy makes skinny jeans look rediculous on my quads / calves or I can't even get them on but they can suit some people. Being too baggy (like below) is just as bad imo.

Just my opinion of course, you guys might disagree.

Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
I'll preface this by saying that I just turned 18 in March.
Now that thats out of the way, my style is definitely skinny jeans, vans, and either v-neck sweaters, v-necks in general, or graphic tees. Urban Outfitters is my favorite place to shop. I don't do snapbacks however, but mainly because
1: seemingly everyone is doing them.
2: I'm rocking a mid height afro at the moment.Comment

Haha, I don't think I've matched a single day since I got my KD IVs lol. They don't really go with anything, but I like em so it's fine. And yeah, I'm a senior in HS, most kids at my school where basketball shoes every day as casual shoes.Comment

Also, dressing nicely does not mean Polo, Ralph Lauren, denim jeans, or shopping at Banana Republic. None of that crap really matters. Its all about shopping for the occasion(s)
I personally shop at H&M.not too cheap but noy crazily expensive though.PSN: MajorJosephxComment

Yea and the v necks are nice.
I just can't find any jeans that are my size, and they have a blazer, a light grey and blue one, which costs like 70 dollars. Really want that thing though lolPSN: MajorJosephxComment
