    Interview with AUChase89

How long have you been reading Operations Sports and what brought you here?

I have been a member of OperationSports since midway through 2008. I was given the link to the web site from a friend.

What made you decide to support Operation Sports?

I love the web site and the job the staff does. I think it's awesome that OS is getting more and more love from some of the major gaming developers out there. It just goes to show that hard work pays off.

The community here is awesome. When I first joined, I was still running my own Sports Gaming League website and I thought I had things figured out. I came in the NCAA forum and received an infraction for some idiotic post.

If you told me, back then, that I would feel the way I do about OS now, I would have called you a liar. I have OS in my twitter name and we have a strong Battlefield 3 PS3 community that does our best to represent the website. We get out and advertise and always let people know where we're from.

Hell, I've wore my OS shirt to the gym for so long, that I had to cut the sleeves out because of a few holes. Now where's my hat at, Steve ?

    Your favorite sports teams?

The Auburn Tigers, Tampa Bay Bucs', LA Lakers, and I'm an on and off Tampa Bay Rays fan.

I've been a bleed orange and blue Auburn fan since I was a little kid. I even have a decent sized Auburn AU tattooed on my right arm. In a family full of Alabama fans (with the exception of one cousin), It's a dog fight each and every year.

I've followed the Bucs since I was a little kid, back in the creamsicle days before they were ever good. I think playing with them in Madden was the only reason I came to like them. It had nothing to do with how they played on the field, lol..

I love The Lakers. I was always a huge basketball fan growing up, even in the south. We were force fed The Bulls and Michael Jordan, but something about The Lakers always stood out to me. I love Kobe and I'll always appreciate everything he has done, but when he leaves, I'll still be here cheering on my team. I've been to Staples TWICE and I make sure I'm in Memphis or Atlanta each year to see them.

    What are your hobbies?

Gaming, wakeboarding, gym, cars, trail riding with Jeeps, and drag racing.

Tell us about about your family.

I only have one sibling, which is my sister. I have a great relationship with all of my family. I've never got in any sort of disagreement with my parents.

My dad and uncle both work for the same company and also do a lot of mechanic work on the side. They have been building race cars and drag racing since I was a little kid, so I grew up around the track.

On any given Saturday night, if my family isn't watching football, they're at the race track.. so we're a close nit group of people.

I'm tired of the small interviews.. thought I'd answer the questions with complete answers!
