    Re: Sporting event bucket list

I think this is a great topic and it would get a lot more attention if it was moved to the Neighborhood. This is my first time in this forum lol.

    Anyways...

    My list:

    Super Bowl
    Rose Bowl
    Final 4
BCS NC game or in the future college football playoff game.
MLB Playoff game and a World Series game
NHL Playoff game and a Stanley Cup Final game

          Iron Bowl at Bryant-Denny Stadium
World Series game (if the Cubs ever make it, I'm doing everything possible to go to the first game at Wrigley)
          Rose Bowl Game
College World Series final at the new stadium
          World Baseball Classic

That's it for now... I'll update as I think of new things

First and foremost, my number one goal is to go to every major league baseball stadium and perhaps at least half of the minor league stadiums (been to two of each: Target Field and Coors Field (three if you count the Metrodome) also minor league stadiums: Principal Park (I-Cubs) and Perfect Game Field at Veterans' Memorial Stadium (CR Kernels)).

Number two, Army-Navy game. Hands down one of the most awesome sporting events in American sports in my opinion.

              3. A Super Bowl
              4. World Cup
              5. The Olympics
              6. An EPL/Bundesliga game... okay, really any European football match in any league, but those two leagues especially.
              7. An NFL/NBA game (never been to one of either before (my brother got to see T-Wolves-Thunder in Minneapolis this year, I was super jealous.)
              8. Duke/UNC basketball.
              9. CWS/NCAA basketball tournament game/BCS Championship game.

A few cool things that I have gotten to do:
Play in a MLB stadium- played a game at the Metrodome my junior year of HS. It was really a cool feeling.
Play in a state playoff game in HS.
Witnessed a CBI and an NIT game- the NIT game was especially cool because UNI played St. Joe's at their place and I just happened to be in Philly that week on a mission trip. Truely a cool feeling.
              MLB: Minnesota Twins
              NFL: Philadelphia Eagles
              NBA: Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves
European Football: Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion
              NCAA: UNI Panthers, Iowa Hawkeyes

National Championship College Football Game (preferably with my Gamecocks in it)
Super Bowl (preferably with the Panthers in it)
                    Wrestlemania

I'd also like to see us in action at all the SEC East football stadiums minus Vandy. Already been to UGA and Kentucky.

-Super Bowl (Chicago Bears would have to be in it)
-Chicago Bears Road Game (Would love to go to Lambeau)

I have been lucky enough to see 40+ Bears games in person. Including some memorable games:

Back to back overtime wins against the Saints and Packers in 2008.
Being at the coldest game in Soldier Field history with a win in overtime against the Vikings in 2008.
Bears over Seahawks in the 2011 playoffs.
Bears losing to the Packers the next week. Not a good memory, but something I will never forget.
Countless times seeing the Windy City Flyer take it to the house!

Cowboys home game - I'll most likely be able to check that one off next season.
Braves home game - don't follow baseball anymore, but figure it would be a nice experience
                            Super Bowl
                            Olympics
                            probably an NBA finals game
