    I Think I Have A Virus/Trojan (Help!!!)

I can't get rid of a trojan. Everytime I go on a website it redirects me to somewhere else. I have the latest Norton and when I did a scan it didn't show up and it keep saying I don't have any virus or whatever but I know its in there because it keeps redirecting me to another site. How do I get rid of these. It's frustating me because it slows down my browser. I don't want to reformat because (1) I don't have the windows 7 disc anymore. (2) I have so many files I don't want to delete and I don't have an extra hard drive to save them in.

I know there has to be a way to fix this. Can someone help me out?

Also every 5 minutes my Norton virus scan keep having this pop up and say they have been autoblocked:
    trojan.zeroaccess.b
    trojen.gen

Download Avira rescue CD and burn it to a disc. Restart your computer, press F12 and boot from CD. Follow instructions and run scan.

Once done, restart again and keep pressing F8 until you get to the the option to pick safe mode with networking. Pick that and once in Windows Safe Mode download Malwarebytes, install it and run full scan. Whole process will take about 2-3 hours but after that you'll be clean.

How do I burn Avira to a disc? Burn it in data and install it from disc or burn it like an image? Also I have Malwarebytes trial version will that work? Also will this delete all my files?

If you already have Malwarebytes installed, just boot into safe mode and run it.

          This.

And get rid of Norton and put Security Essentials or Avast on there.

Can't he just do a system restore to a date before the virus?

I've done that in the past and it sure seemed to work for me...

No idea what happened there, try a different cd, like Bitdefender or Kaspersky.

Avira doesn't remove, it renames making it inactive. Malwarebytes then removes before the virus/trojan can replicate itself.

I had some bad virus where some cell phone pop up wouldnt leave my computer no matter if i system restored or ran a virus or malware scan..nothing. It hogged up my resources badly and wouldnt even let me visit some web pages

I downloaded Kaspersky after reading someone on a site having that same virus and it took care of it quick

If you want help, you're going to have to provide more specifics on what you've actually done, "tried everything" isn't helpful in any way.

                            Fire cleanses all

If you don't want to go that route, get Kaspersky.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!
