Fantasy Sport Leagues *Unique Ideas Welcomed*

I don't want to make this football specific cause it doesn't have to be. Is there any rules or bonuses that are unique to your league that are worth sharing?

For example I would like to award end of year $ bonuses to the league owners that draft the highest scoring person at the 3 major Positions in football. Maybe the highest weekly score for the year would be a good one.

What about rules put in place to make teams compete when they are mathematically eliminated.

I know with fantasy baseball leagues and hockey leagues owners disappear at the slightest hint their season is over.

I've never actually done this, but I've always thought it could be interesting to have a football league where:
    1. You draft every position

    OR

    2. Points are only awarded for touchdowns and field goals.

We have a rule in the football and baseball leagues that I'm in where last place has to pay extra at the end of the season. It definitely helps keep guys interested when they're out of the race for the playoffs.

One of the leagues I'm in has a Toilet Bowl for the non-playoff teams. Winner gets to pick his spot in the draft.

For our draft order, we each get one keeper that was picked in the 3rd round or later, and whoever's keeper is lowest on ESPN's Pre-rankings gets the 1st pick. So for example, if you keep the #10 guy on the pre-rankings and another team keeps the #11 guy, the #11 guy gets the 1st pick.

But the winner of the Toilet Bowl can pick where they draft regardless of those pre-rankings.

In our football league, lineups can basically reflect any legal NFL formation (exception: wildcat). Teams do not a RB and can start up to 5 WR/TE's. We flat out like the freedom it gives the owners as well as the fact it does not penalize those as much that miss on the top tier RB's, though that fact is quickly diminishing since the top three WR's last year in our league outscored the top three RB's (PPR league).

In another league, to keep teams competitive....after a certain week, if lower teams cannot fill a roster spot, the automatically get a certain ranked player of that position (after free agency closes for the week). I can't remember what it is, but if a team is short a RB, they get like the 5th best projected RB for that week after all others have been picked up. That player is then dropped after that week.
