Re: The "remember that guy" thread
I've often wondered how many of the long time posters who end up getting banned come back under a different username and post without getting caught.
Hard to believe some of the guys who had tens of thousands of posts can get banned and then just stay away for good.Go Yankees
Go Rangers
Go Giants

Re: The "remember that guy" thread
I heard a rumor that PDiddyPop was in the pen. I have absolutely no proof of this though, just sayin'.
I also wonder how many (if any) posters from here that have just vanished, have in fact, died.
Another forum I post on have several deceased members that were once frequent contributors.Comment

Re: The "remember that guy" thread
I used to frequently contribute to a massive site that was similar to this, but had sections devoted to each sports team as well and not just threads. Anyway, there was one member who I had good discussions with, and he worked at the World Trade Center. He made a post the same minute his tower was hit; it was probably one of the last eventful things he was ever able to do. His user name and the website are unimportant, especially since both are now obsolete, but his real name was Dennis Gomes.
Sorry to stray off-topic there, but since then, I have struck realization that anybody here could have something happen to them as well. So, when I see somebody go on a rather large, unannounced hiatus from virtually every network facing that I know them, I always have to raise the red flag and show some concern.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: The "remember that guy" thread
I can fill in a couple blanks.
I believe Graphik was the poster who had the raven in his house. I could be wrong though.
PDiddyPop is alive and well. He's getting married three weeks from today.Comment

Re: The "remember that guy" thread
I always questioned this as well. I always hoped that, somehow, somebody would hear about it and report it to all of us. I know a few people woulf be able to do it for me, since I am Facebook friends with them, and they would hear about it that way (knock on wood that this site lives longer than I do, and that I live to be 200).

I'm guessing if I go, nobody would know. My FB friends don't come here or the other sites I belong to. My accounts would probably just be suspended/deleted for lack of activity.
Grim thought, I know...Comment

Re: The "remember that guy" thread
I remember seeing a post where a user came right out and admitted he was a PBU. The funny part is, his original account had been banned more than a year earlier and he had registered the second account shortly thereafter and avoided detection for that long before blowing his own cover and getting banned. I don't remember what his usernames were, but I don't think he was anyone significanct though.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
