    Scale of the Universe 2

Take a look at a flash animation, showing the entire universe from the smallest subatomic particles to the most distant galaxies. 'Scale of the Universe 2,' it turns out, was created by two 14-year-old twin brothers from California, Cary and Michael Huang.

The "Scale of the Universe 2" was created by Cary Huang, a 14-year-old ninth grader from Moraga, California USA., with technical help from his twin brother Michael.
This is such an awesome link. Props to these kids for putting this together, this obviously took a lot of work. Thinking about the universe can really make your head spin.

Yeah. I posted this in a couple of threads months ago, but didn't make a new thread about it. I had no idea a couple of kids created it though. That's amazing.

This link allows a little better control. No extra vertical or horizontal scrolling.

It freaks me out thinking about how big the universe is and how inconsequential our lives are in relation

Re: Scale of the Universe 2

What makes this even more mind blowing is that this is just the observable universe. We are almost positive it goes on infinitely after that. More galaxies, more everything.
