Definition of "Sim" and "Cheese". Not gonna lie, I was probably 75% "Cheese" before I joined but I am now 100% Sim.

The Wire-Prior to OS, I wasn't a fan of that series but because of OS, I managed to watch and enjoy the entire series, even going thru and watching the series again.

WWE-My interest in Wrestling was damn near dead until I came here and it was basically rekindled.

It also has contributed to my procrastination.. a lot.

Definitely sliders.

Before I came here I had never touched sliders before, apart from NBA 2K8, to get some of the achievements easily. Now I can edit sliders and I dont have to say "I'll guess I'll just wait for next year" if a game isn't up to scratch.

Literally...and it still amazes me.

I have been creating rosters for one game or another for two decades now and because of O.S. SCEA had the great insight to contact actual players of the game and ask for their input and to be a conduit between the guys who make the game and those who play the game.
When I first got contacted...I thought it was someone pulling a prank on me. Maybe one of the guys from work or something.
It took guts for SCEA to invite a bunch of STRANGErs from the internet into their studios and I'll bet it had a LOT to do with the validity and reputation of Operation Sports.

It also introduced me to a second family. I've been on other websites that have been close(the Clubhouse and the Dugout and Full Count to name a few), but none are even close to O.S. There are guys on here that if they called me asking for help...I'd be at their door ASAP with no questions asked.(except..."what do you need?")

While it would be impossible to name a "best site" on the internet, O.S. is without a doubt a top tier contender.

Sliders and playcalling in basketball games.

House Rules. Never played with or heard of them in sports gaming until I got here.

First person shooters. I was strictly a sports gamer until I got here. Rainbow Six Vegas turned that all around.

Online dynasty/association. I always hated playing sports games online. I still don't really care for it but have had some good experiences with folks here.

The Show without a doubt. I have always been a football fan and never really into baseball. Really glad I found The Show cause of OS.

Outside of really that, I have always been huge into sports and trying to replicate them in real form in the video game world. So OS just further improves my fan-ism of sports video games

I guess I'm the odd man out here. The only thing OS has really gotten me into was soccer, and really I was kinda interested in it before and I think the '10 WC had more to do with it. Reading OS just kinda guided me into finding a club to support.

Besides that...slider editing? I did that before, but I started doing it more after I found OS.


I still love you OS.
