Re: Dealing with the unexpected death of a loved one?

    Sorry to hear this man.

I've never experienced death of somebody really close to me, so I don't know how to really give advice on it.

But I will say just try to be around other people as much as possible. Try to be with family and good friends, the worst thing you can do when your feeling depressed in my opinion is be alone.

When I get sad or something in life has me down, I try to just hang with friends or visit family members. I'm not big on talking about my problems, I usually keep most things to myself, but I feel much better when I'm just near others. It really does help get your mind off of things a little.

Hang in there though man. Time will make the pain lessen, you just have to be strong and try to get through this. Good luck man.

Sorry to hear that lost my grandfather at a young age the only male role model I had in my life.As time went on I grew angrier and angrier to deal with the grief I would just write about it that always help because alot of times its hard expressing your feelings to someone they just might never experienced whats going on with you. That and also realizing you never lose a person there memories and all that are still with you.Try to write and reflect on that person.Never bottle in your feelings in makes it worst in the end.I don't know your religious beliefs but who ever or what ever you believe in prayer helps hope you get threw this tuff time God bless.

Very sorry to hear of everyone's loss in this thread. My father was murdered over a month ago. I still think of him every hour and it still hurts. The only thing that will help is time. If you need get professional help as well. Thoughts and prayers.
