Ohio State Buckeye Pumpkin - My first attempt..

Hey guys, I was bored tonight so decided to try my hand at carving a Buckeye pumpkin..

It turned out pretty good I think, would have liked the lines to be a bit more straight though...but whew, it was some work..

I agree! One small mistake and you ruin it, I'm impressed! All those skinny lines of pumpkin are so mistake prone (as I know from our more simple pumpkins lol).

Nicely done! I'm not a big fan of the subject, but my fiancee would love your pumpkin. We got 1 Michigan dog jersey and 1 Ohio State dog jersey for the dogs on halloween...she wanted 2 Ohio State ones but I wouldn't allow it lol

You're correct in saying that the lines aren't straight, but that's pretty nitpicky. I guess that's par for the course at this forum though.

Impressive job man, it looked awesome. How long did it take / what did you use to carve it?

For the record, I don't think mgo was criticizing O's lines. He was just saying that thin lines are hard to do in pumpkin carving in general.

Nice job Odogg. I learned a few years ago, pumpkin carvings isn't as easy as it looks.

I know, ODogg himself said it. Not a knock on anyone and my bad if it was taken that way.
