I recently graduated from college and received a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations. I have had a a lot of internships, two with notable organizations.
Anyways, my internship ended on Friday and I received/accepted an offer for a social media position the day before...I start on Wednesday. So I should be excited right? Not exactly. The position is at an exciting up and coming company and I get to do what I love: social media.
I am trying to grasp what is wrong here, but I have applied to more jobs this weekend. The funny thing is that I find my mind has shifted away from job searching in Illinois...I applied to a couple of places in Portland, OR and New Orleans, LA. I have been to both locations and would be willing to re-locate, I have enough saved in the bank to move if I secured a good job.
Maybe it is being at home for the first time in four years? Living on the same street for 22 years? I just don't know and was curious if anyone at OS has gone through this.
I always grew up thinking I wanted to stay in the Chicago suburbs, but something has changed. I don't know if it is just cabin fever or what.
