I agree with you, since it's a merchandise dispute and not a payment dispute I would imagine it should go through ebay since the problem wasn't on paypals side.

Even though they are owned by the same people doesn't mean operations go between them equally.

*This is just a guess and has nothing to do with past experience.

I'm glad you didn't call me out on saying Ebay instead of Paypal.

I meant to say I thought Paypal was an independent company.. of course Ebay is, lol..

Yeah, it does seem like smart business. They capitalize in other areas too, because so many small business use it, online.

I "worked" for a graphic design forum for a few months and we designed custom graphics for people wanting to start up a website and we took payments through paypal.

If they claimed it to be a certain brand and it's a replica, you have a case. Like, "New Era 9FIFTY Cap"

If they titled it "Miami Heat Snapback" "Chicago Bull Hat" you're out of luck.

Fake Jerseys from China also have the tags, NFL Shield etc. They have machines that can make any sticker they want, and make it look exactly like the real product.

If you buy something from China that is "Licensed", it's going to be fake.

I am curious, how much were they? How much are they in a store?

I don't know if anyone here will be able to answer this for you. You should probably just file a claim and see what Ebay says.

Yah honestly... I don't know why you've spent two days in this thread asking everyone if you'll get a refund. You could have already filed this with eBay and found out for yourself...

If they're not authentic, the stickers should help your case. Not 100% positive, just speaking from experience.

No harm in filing a claim. Go for it.
