    Re: The Beard/Mustache thread

I had a Trucker mustache going through November, but then it got out of hand and went back to clean shaven.

Started growing one when I was about 20. I could always grow facial hair when I was younger but I felt so weird with it since no one else could. But now I usually go between the goatee and the full beard. I get it trimmed/edged by my barber about once every two weeks. I edge it up it myself in between then. #Beardgang

It cost to much to have it edged up at a barber.

That's why I get it done every 2 weeks, when I get my hair cut. Costs about another $2 or so I believe.

I've have had this mustache since the beginning of November in 2009. I had to shave it in hopes of the Steelers to finally win some games that year. Before that incident, I've had once my Junior year of HS. I decided to grow grow a real one that summer when the Cardinals, specifically Brendan Ryan, began growing them as well. I've had this beard for about a year now, and I trim it down when it gets too wide. Yeah, it doesn't really grow down, just out sideways.

What aggravates me is that I still can't grow any connectors from my mustache down to my chin or anything on the front of my chin. I guess it all looks normal to other people, but without that area growing in, it still isn't complete to me.

My current beard.. been growing it for a little over a month now. I have to be clean shaven for my coaching position, but it's winter break so I'm letting it grow out.

                  Re: The Beard/Mustache thread

I started growing a full beard in protest of the last NHL lockout. I still have it. Before that, I always had big sideburns and something right under my lip and sometimes on my chin. I keep it up myself. Level 6 on the Norelco trimmer. I shave around it and edge it every couple days. I don't know when I'll shave it off. My face hair grows too fast and shaving it every day seems futile.

I have a mustache and groomed chin hair right now. Sometimes I rock a full beard.

I've had facial hair since I was 16 and always will mostly because I have a bad scar on my chin which the facial hair covers.
