    Deththread

The older I get, the subject of death crosses my mind more and more. Specifically after death. I try to imagine a "non existance" and I can't do it. The more I wonder what if there's nothing after this. It is a scary thought to simply never exist anymore. I want to live forever and I keep that mindset that I will never die. But its inevitable. And it can be depressing at times. I've known people who have died and I would like to believe they exist in some other way but I can't help but to think that once you're gone, game over.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

I'm a spiritual person and I believe in heaven. My hope is that is where I will be when my time is up.

I'm a believer of Heaven and hell so you probably can figure out my thoughts regarding this.

As far as you wanting to live forever you might try to find a Vampire to hook you up with a good BITE???!

I can't really express my opinion or belief without offending anyone or breaking T.O.S, so I'll just say this..

When I get to the end, whether It's on my way home from work today or when I'm old and my body is breaking down, I just want to be able to say I lived my life to the fullest and didn't shy away from any challenges.

Life is too short for people to get hung up on the small things, such as being rejected by some girl or losing in a game of Madden..

Like you said, I've tried thinking about there being be nothing, ever after I die. That's the hardest thing for me. I'm content with dying whenever because I feel I've done mostly everything that I feel like I can, but then I starting thinking about what there will be.

              And then I just think.

There may be nothing, ever, ever, ever again.

I'm a Christian, but I keep my mind open about that stuff.

                Hahaha...who takes Madden that seriously?

Now if we were talking about a game of FIFA...that's something to take seriously!

As for the thread....I believe there is something after this, but if not I think those first 14 billion years of existence went by alright.

This is a tough subject for me to fully explain my beliefs, due to the TOS, but I do believe in Heaven, but I also believe that life on earth is something to be cherished and I fully intend to live my life to the fullest.

I'm not a religious person at all, but I agree with others that the thought of there being nothing once I'm gone is terrifying. I don't sleep much so my mind starts going when I'm laying in bed. I've had near panic attacks when my mind goes to death and thinking that there is nothing after.. that it's just the end and that's it.

I just started sweating typing that out
