With the right tools, everything is patterned and everything is mathematics. I don't doubt their claims were from certain grounds, but I think there's a little too much statistical error looking thousands of years into the future. Nice try though, fellas.

Also unfortunately for them, they didn't account for leap years and Pluto not being a planet.

This is assuming that the calendar was even a countdown to begin with which it was not.

They also found another Mayan calendar awhile ago that was continued past this date.

You know how we use watches and clocks to tell what part of the day it is? Well they use the calendar to do the same for the stars. Lol our world doesnt end if our clocks stop working...

Sadly, End-worlders (especially the Nibiru nuts) will just latch onto another date.

Tell my why I was in the shower late last night with my lady & all of the sudden my power went off for about 1minute. (big snoe storm) I got scared for a second. Didnt want to go out like that, lol

I mentioned it in OT, but I was driving home from the gym about 11:45 CST and a limb fell from a tree and blew up a transformer (on a power pole, Dayman......) and sent sparks and **** everywhere...

While I was in the gym, I kept hearing ambulances and fire trucks..

I was playing Highway To Hell on my guitar as the clock struck midnight on 12/21/2012. In retrospect, I should have played Freebird.

Also, for an end-of-the-world scenario grounded in fact, I present the near-Earth asteroid known as Apophis, which will pass closer to the Earth than our Earth-orbiting satellites in 2029 (but not hit the planet) and, if it passes through a certain orbital distance "keyhole" during this pass, will with 99.9% certainty hit the Earth on April 13, 2036, most likely in the Pacific Ocean, wiping out the entire west coast of the United States at minimum.
