I hate having in-laws. The brother and sister-in-law get to get me one thing, but I have to each get them something. Same for my sister and bro-in-law.

So far what I've received from my parents:

Panaromic poster of kickoff at Tiger Stadium for the USCe game(need to get a frame)
Frame that has 10 pictures of Saints players with their signatures right below.
Really freaking comfortable blanket, like 100% polyester or something.
LSU Les Miles Hat from my grandma

Tbh this all I really expect to physically get, other then a blu ray or two from an aunt i'll probably get $$ and gift cards as I never really know what to ask for besides from my parents.

I get my kids at 3 on Christmas day and have them until 3 on January 2nd That's all I plan on getting and it's perfect. Even though my wife and I have been separated since September I bought her a watch and diamond earrings for our kids to give to her. I feel like that is something that is important to the kids and it makes them feel more included on the Christmas festivities. I don't expect anything from her and I shouldn't, I just hope she realizes how important Christmas is to them and they, even at their young age place a lot of value on the spirit of giving.

Got my first gifts yesterday. Wife and I went to dinner with some family members and 2 of my aunts were there. Got gifts from my aunts since I only see them once a year.

$25 Amazon.com gift card
$15 Darden gift card (can be used at multiple restaurants)
Some kind of external speaker that can be plugged into my cell phone.

Can't wait for Christmas Day to get here. Our first Christmas with our son. He's only 8 months old, but it's still nice to experience his first Christmas with him. Can't wait to give my wife her gifts.

Well I went Christmas shopping with my sister yesterday and we have a tradition where we just buy each others gift and exchange them while we're shopping for everyone else. So I bought my sister her gifts and she bought me a white PS3 controller... Simple enough.

Nice Phillies! My daughter is turning 8 months tomorrow so I'm super excited for her to open up all her gifts. I got her the toys and the wife got her the clothes :P I haven't really wanted anything for myself. I have a secret santa exchange with the cousins in the family, and the only stuff I put on there are things not really needed. More wants, like stuff for baking cookies!

I was going to buy a dirty santa gift, but my grandma says we're not playing this year and that's something we have always done. My cousins (the women) all take it too ****ing serious and one even started crying last year and she's 23.. it's pathetic really.
