I didn't get much other than some small things from my grandparents and uncle(some cash/gift cards). That's about what I usually get from them. My parents are the ones that spoil me each year, but this year they decided to not do gifts because they're low on money after all the other crap they bought(mom got a new car, dad a new boat, etc.). 1st Christmas I didn't get anything from them. That's fine with me though I'm not a kid anymore and can buy anything I want myself.

That said, I just want to point out that when I was growing up I thought I had it made as far as Christmas goes. My parents bought way too much **** for me every year. But.. looking at some of the things some of you got. WOW. Some dude on here got like an iPhone, Apple TV, Macbook Air, a 360, and some other things. Serious?

It probably would've taken me 3 different Christmas' to get all of that.


Hell, everything that I currently own and use all the time(as far as the fun stuff goes anyway... my laptop, 360, gaming monitor, iphone, etc.) I bought myself. The only thing I was given was my 32 inch LCD and my car. Although to be fair the 360 I had before this my parents got me for my birthday.

So, give or take a couple hundred, you got around $2,000 spent on you?

Perspective, my friend.

Remember, I don't know about that $1,000 I didn't even get to see it. So it's uncertain. The Dinner was Roast Beef, Rice, and the usual Holiday dinner. I would say $150 was on me, and the dinner for the family, $100. My moms getting an iPad mini though thanks to my dad.
