Defense is really underrated in Cleveland. Haden, Brown, Ward make a pretty dang good secondary. Taylor, Rubin, Winn, Hughes, Sheard form an underrated and strong D-Line, and Jackson is a great ILB. Joe Thomas, Schwartz, Mack, Lauvao make a good O-Line, and Richardson and Josh Gordon are good playmakers on Offense. I'm not being a homer, but the team is really underrated. Five losses were by 7 points or less, and they went 5-11. Team could've easily been 10-6 if they didn't lose leads in the 4th.

The Football Outsiders say otherwise on that one. They're better than the Eagle's line, to be sure, can't get much worse than the line the Eagles have, but not one of the best in the NFL.

But Richardson's upside is what excites me. I think he could be a top 5 back in the league when all is said and done.

But I will admit that their D is pretty solid statistically.

I think this is the longest continuos conversation in one day about the Browns on OS. It's a sad statement but true.

And why is it happening in the OT thread?

This is a misconception. They trotted out 2nd and 3rd stringers at 80% of the OL. Their healthy OL is one of the best in the league

I'd say the Browns are the best 5-11 team in the league. They were in a ton of close games this year. Weeden's not as bad as everyone made him out to be. With a good draft and a few key FA's I think they can be in the mix for a Wild Card spot next year.

At the least, I know they're a team that I won't feel comfortable picking against in Survivor Pool.

This is why I usually keep Cleveland topics bottled up. I always get reminded of the bad times and pain caused by them. In other news, this week is killing me.

Homework and class on Monday, Spent all of Tuesday at the ER, and today I'm doing more schoolwork while procrastinating on here.

That's true, but the whole healthy part is what worries me. I would love to see them add at least one O-Lineman in the offseason... because if they get bit by the injury bug again, it's game over for whoever is playing QB.

No. I completely agree that he's not that bad. But, he's also more than likely be out of the league sometime around when he starts getting accustomed to playing in the NFL. And the skill position players around Weeden need a lot of improvement, in my opinion for them to be a playoff contender.

About 2 weeks ago I got sick for a few days with a pretty bad cold. I've been good for about a week now but still have a lingering cough accompanied by some chest congestion and phlegm. This morning I hacked up a little something while coughing and there seemed to be a slight trace of blood in it. I should probably get it checked out huh?

Damn I really need to get healthy so I can start being active again, the whole last month of being lazy and sick has me breathing like I just did a short sprint when i'm just walking up stairs.
