Also have an online class (American Pop Song lol), and a workshop twice this quarter that's 4 hours on a Monday starting at 1:30.

For my major, they told me "We don't care what Math you take, but you have to take one".. So, I took the easiest one that was available, haha. I hate math.

That Masters Activity is like.. You set up a plan for two semesters, a health plan.. Working out, dieting etc and follow it. You only meet once a Semester from my understanding, but it's my "Health and Fitness" class.. it was better than the class they initially had me set up with.

As OS's resident mathematician, SHAME ON YOU! Go hard or go home. Take Calculus... all of them. I'm glad somebody's school has the sense to use 10 minute gaps. I guess my schools always have had large campuses, but students there even pulled the excuse of "I had to walk from end-to-end and 15 minutes wasn't long enough," which was true at Akron if you had to go from downtown to Olin, but still, it can be done. 15 minutes screws up the start time and then students use the excuse of "I thought class started at 10:00, not 9:55."

If I'm still here, which I hope I'm not... I can no longer get dream schedules because grad school, you take the classes whenever they feel like offering something.

MW 3:30-4:45 - Numerical Discretization I
TTh 12:30-1:45 - Numerical PDE's
TTh 5:00-6:15 - Intermediate Fluids

And then I have to teach at the God awful hour of 8 AM on TTh. The guy that makes the schedule does this, and I know it: he waits to the last minute despite having all of this for weeks, months in some cases. Then he just goes down the list and starts assigning people 8 AM sections. If there is no conflict, he moves on until he's done. Once he hits a problem, then he adjusts it. I know for a fact scheduling can be done better for that. My schedule is begging for classes from 2-5, just like I know someone that has a gap from 9:30-12:30 and has to teach in the afternoon. I would volunteer to do it, free of charge, because I know for a fact I can accommodate people better. I'd even fit in preferences. All the department has to tell me is who has to teach.

That should go in the gear grinder's thread: people that do a half-assed job of scheduling.

So the Eagles and Phillies used to share a massive porn collection at the Vet.

My first schedule at LSU

MWF
10:30-11:30 Calculus
1:30-2:30 Communication Studies (Honestly have no idea what this class is, all I heard is it's the easiest Comm Class I'll ever take)

TTH
9:00-10:30 Mass Media
10:30-12:00 Western History
1:30-3:00 Digital Brands (AKA Online Media. I'm going to love that one.)


Normally I would hate going 5 days a week, but considering transfers get to schedule after everybody else I guess it's pretty good, I know people that have a class at 8:00 and not again till 3:00.


Also it's LSU, and I'm more than ok with hanging around the campus. It r pretty.

Mondays and Wednesdays suck hard, especially when I have to work at 3:00.

Anyone else have a hard time taking things for free ? I'm 23 and my dad still wants to buy some stuff for me. He's been texting me all morning about buying new shoes just because I had some old Nikes on yesterday.

I had been cutting grass in them and then rode the motorcycle over there to let him look at something for me.. Of course I don't have nice shoes on.

8 - 9 - Browse the internet
9 - 11 - actual work
11 - 11:30 - Candy Crush/internet time
11:30 - 1ish - Lunch
1 - 5 - some work mixed with internet and more CC

There's usually a dump around mid to early morning mixed in there too
